Then you could be our next Category Manager at Danfoss Global Procurement organization. You will become part of a team of highly skilled and committed colleagues working closely together and sparring with each other about processes and mechanisms, each being responsible for different product categories and placed at various locations. Develop supplier relationships and implement category strategies. Your starting point is a deep understanding of the assigned category portfolio in terms of external supply markets, technology developments and internal Danfoss requirements. You will execute in identifying and building procurement KPI pipeline and you will have ownership of price negotiations and agreements in projects aligned with stakeholders.
Category Manager
The position is located in Grodzisk Mazowiecki.
Responsibilities:
- Secure the implementation and deployment of Procurement strategy in the region
- Execute and support on performance management with relevant suppliers
- Become a category expert by providing support to procurement projects
- Execute price negotiations, participate in cost down activities, VA/VE
- Strong interfaces between other functions
Requirements:
- You have minimum 2-3 years of experience in a procurement role from a manufacturing industry environment
- You have a relevant educational background - Bachelor Degree or equivalent
- Experience in the field of work with packaging, finished products or with pressed parts – is a plus
- English at negotiation level, ability to follow business processes and procedures
- In addition, you are a proactive self-starter with high drive, ambition and a positive can-do attitude
